About the ear
Our ears are among the most complex of our sense organs. The ear receives sound in the form of airwaves and translate them into nerve impulses that are understood by our brain.
It is through the verbal instructions and communication that we learn about and relate to the world around us. The inner ear also plays an important role in the control of balance, and when it is affected by illness, hearing loss, dizziness and lack of balance may develop.
Hearing loss, which is not being able to hear well, affects our everyday lives as communication with our social, and working environments is affected.
The ear can be divided into three parts:
